At Gottesman RTW Academy, every parent is automatically a member of the Parent Association (PA). The PA is an active and welcoming part of our school community, dedicated to enhancing the student and family experience through communication, celebration, and support.
Our Mission:
- Build community among parents through events and shared experiences
- Strengthen communication between families and the school
- Enrich student life through holiday celebrations, special programs, and gifts
- Support these activities through fundraising and volunteer efforts
We welcome all parents to participate—whether by attending events, volunteering time, or supporting our fundraisers.
What We Do:
- Fundraising ~ Our fundraising efforts support enrichment programs and “extras” for students throughout the year. Your participation—big or small—makes a meaningful impact.
- Social Events ~ We host family and parent-only events that help build community and connection. Details are shared in our weekly parent emails.
- Enrichment Activities ~ With the help of volunteers, we provide memorable experiences for students and staff, including:
- Book Fair: Students can shop for books and grow their home libraries
- Graduate & B’nai Mitzvah Gifts: Celebratory gifts for students during key milestones
- Holiday Enrichment: Parties and treats for holidays such as Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Tu B’Shevat, and Pesach
- Rosh Chodesh Celebrations: Monthly breakfasts and treats for students
- School Pictures: Student photos taken each fall
- Staff Welcome Luncheon: A back-to-school tradition to show appreciation for our faculty and staff
