Head of School Teaching a Class

Shalom! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Gottesman RTW Academy, a community Jewish day school for early childhood through 8th graders and serving the Morris and Sussex Jewish Community for over 50 years. I want to invite you to visit our amazing campus and learn about our innovative and integrated Jewish and general curricula.

I am proud to have been a part of GRTWA for more than 20 years. I am originally from Tzfat, Israel where I was part of a large, religious, Moroccan family. In 1981, I joined the IDF and served in the military police for 3 years. I came to the United States in 1990. I married in 1997, and my wife and I have two sons. My family and I moved to Randolph in 2007 to be closer to the school, which has become a second home for us. My two sons attend the school from Early Childhood through 8th grade.

My passion is doing God's work and ensuring the future of the Jewish people, and  I believe that a Jewish day school education is the guarantor for the existence of our people. The children at GRTWA are the center of what we do. More than ever, we are committed to providing an excellent Jewish and general education, with our core philosophy being authenticity by teaching our students values, morals, and ethics. Living in the 21st century is challenging and extremely exciting, and we want our students to adhere to the core values of the school while providing them with the skills to be a part of these exciting times.

GRTWA is committed to the social, emotional, and academic success of every student. We believe that a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body and are committed to serving the needs of our students academically, socially, and emotionally. The school’s over 50-year history has always been centered around the needs of the child. We are committed to our students’ success in learning and as well as in life.

When you come to visit our school, you will see an exceptional faculty and staff. Gottesman RTW Academy is more than ever committed to the educational and ethical development of every teacher and staff member at the school.  We hope you will come soon to visit us at our spectacular campus, tucked within over 21 beautiful acres of woods and open space.

Warm wishes,

Dr Moshe Vaknin
