Gottesman RTW Academy, founded in 1967, is a co-educational pluralistic, Jewish community day school serving approximately 200 children starting with infant care to early childhood education through eighth grade. As a community day school, we serve families representing the entire spectrum of contemporary Jewish observance. GRTWA was awarded the National Blue Ribbon School status in 2006.
Gottesman RTW Academy maintains high standards of academic excellence and nurtures students in an environment infused with the richness of Jewish life. GRTWA inspires intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and personal integrity to enable our students to emerge as lifelong learners, compassionate individuals, and successful members of society who are rooted in their heritage. As a community day school, GRTWA welcomes families from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the American Jewish community today.
In our beautiful new state of the art building, GRTWA demonstrates its commitment to green initiatives by adopting green policies, launching green programs, and integrating green education into our curriculum. Our new facility has been designed similar to that of a LEED building and will include the use of solar panels, a greenhouse and rain gardens. We are producing over 90% of our own energy
The Gottesman RTW Academy features three exceptional Prep Programs which bridge our academic divisions and beyond. These programs provide our students with both the skills and confidence to make smooth transitions during these critical growth years.
Individualized instruction is not just a goal at GRTWA, but a reality. The middle school math program includes an accelerated component and social studies curriculum includes an intensive research-based and current event focus. Our three science teachers collaborate with one another to offer all ECC - 8th grade students innovative science projects.
Gottesman RTW Academy is located in Randolph, a young, vibrant suburban community of 25,000 ranked by Money Magazine in 2004 as one of the most desirable places to live in America. As the only community day school in Northwestern New Jersey, our students hail from towns throughout Morris County, as well as neighboring Sussex, Warren, and Somerset counties. These lovely suburban communities have a country flair, and many are well situated for easy commuting to New York City and other metropolitan destinations via train, bus, or car.
